ABSTRACT
The topics that you need to study for MEST3 are subject to change. You need to check with your teacher to make sure you are revising the appropriate topics. If you are taking the exam in June 2014, then the topics are ‘representations in the media’ and ‘the impact of new/digital media’. For future exams from June 2015, one of the topics will again be ‘the impact of new/ digital media’ but the second will be a study based upon ‘audience and identity’. If there are any further changes to the topics offered in subsequent years, you can find this information by referring to the AQA website.
