ABSTRACT

Planning the required resources, as well as the technological and production process, is an important section of the strategic plan. Implementation of this section is done through the operational management. Information and communication technologies (ICTs) have become widely used by arts organisations in the overall process of converting, storing, processing, transmitting and retrieving information. ICTs could be of use for different purposes and in different phases of a technological process in an arts organisation, such as facilitating core creativity, helping conduct market research and/or assisting a promotional campaign. The key technological phases of the production process for a material object are storage, production, assembly, completion, control and packaging. Production capacity is the maximum possible quantity of products which an organisation can produce based on a certain structure, by the most effective use of its facilities, implementation of the best technology and the most effective organisation of production.
