ABSTRACT

In my opinion, one of the strongest differences between graduate school and being an undergraduate is that when I was an undergraduate I was connected to the university is so many ways. I spent time hanging out with my friends, going to parties, going to football games, you know, “kegs and eggs” [laughing]. But now as a graduate student, I feel like I should connect with others in my program, my professors, my advisor, and maybe even the larger fi eld where I’ll work, but it’s not the “university” per se.
