WHY GRAPH? With many students or many classes or even many skills to teach to one student, how can you remember each student’s current performance, where it is progressing satisfactorily, and where change in instruction is needed? You can pull information out of a string of numbers, but that takes valuable time. Graphing permits you to assess progress instantaneously and to project into the future.
