ABSTRACT
Computer modelling of buildings is widely used to size equipment, determine the performance of HVAC systems and predict energy consumption. The main areas where computer modelling is generally applied can be grouped into the following categories:
design calculations;
demonstrating regulatory compliance;
dynamic simulation modelling;
computational fluid dynamics.
