Buildings used for the storage of large or heavy items – agricultural and industrial collections, transport collections, monumental or architectural items – or the bulk storage of collections, such as bone or ceramics from archaeological excavations, should be secure, weatherproof, well lit and adequately provided with an electricity supply.
