ABSTRACT
Many have seen the documentary Do You Believe in Miracles and the movie Miracle, the story of the 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team who against all odds beat the mighty Russians and eventually went on to win the gold medal. The time was very different – fear as a result of the Cold War, a hostage crisis in Iran, and an overall turbulent political and social environment. Business and sport was a very competitive arena, but its focus is generally on the domestic market.
