ABSTRACT

Computer games offer exciting and active ways for students to learn, both informally and within the boundaries of formal education. By their very nature, they adopt problem-based, collaborative, and experiential pedagogic approaches, supporting learners seamlessly in their transition from novice to expert in an engaging and stimulating way. However, when it comes to formal learning, big problems exist with finding and using appropriate games, or games appropriately.
