ABSTRACT
Along with the rapid development of economic globalization and the widespread use of information technology, factors of production flow at an accelerating speed globally. Finance, insurance, and other higher-level producer services have continued to agglomerate to several world/global cities, stimulating these cities to become the most important nodes in the global economic and urban system, which has raised academics’ enthusiasm (Sassen 1991).
