ABSTRACT
This chapter provides some creative approaches to developing locational knowledge at local and global scales. It outlines formal and informal approaches to learning locational knowledge using activities that can be adapted for the youngest and oldest primary children. Teaching and learning locational knowledge can and should be enjoyable, but we need to consider why this is important to us. It is not just about knowing the names of countries or capital cities.
