ABSTRACT
In the previous chapters we have examined notions and theories concerned with understanding more about the nature and function of language behaviour, and also evidence provided by studies in which samples of language in use in ‘live’ situations concerned with the teaching and learning of concepts associated with a variety of school subjects have been obtained and analysed.
