ABSTRACT
We have already discussed the overall plan of the Qur’an for life in this world. The plan involved the devolution of authority to mankind, equipping people with the necessary tools, and putting at their disposal God’s creation to utilise during their mandate. It indicated the right way towards God and warned of the consequences of following the excesses of the desires (lusts). It offered freedom to choose a way, asked mankind to vie with each other in doing good works and told them that all will be raised from the dead and judged according to their conduct in their lifetime in this world.
