The limits to integration?: Sue Szivos

This chapter unpacks some of the assumptions contained within normalisation about integration. It is written from the position of a psychologist concerned about some of the basic psychological processes that advocates of normalisation have overlooked. Although many examples will be drawn from the area of learning difficulties, examples will also be taken from other groups, highlighting the relevance of this critique to all people to whom the theory of normalisation has been applied.
