ABSTRACT
Please read out also the deposition from the buyers, to inform you that I sold the property on his instructions to the people he requested.

[18] Not only do I have these witnesses that I was released and am now being prosecuted maliciously but also Pantainetos himself. For when, while bringing his action against Euergos, he ignored me he testified that he had no claim outstanding against me. For if the same wrongs existed and he was making the same charge against both, he would surely not have ignored one and sued the other. But I think that you recognize without even a word from me that the laws do not allow someone to bring a fresh action in situations such as this. Still, read out to them this law as well.
