ABSTRACT

In contrast to other books in the Psychology Focus series, the readings below are given only at the end of the book, rather than at the end of each chapter. There are a number of reasons for this difference. The primary reason is that Jobs, Technology and People attempts to integrate findings from a number of disparate psychological areas: cognitive, social and organisational. The suggested readings therefore are chosen to provide more information across these areas related to the concerns in the present book. The reader is urged to look at these readings, and the chapters within them, with a selective eye initially, but then to branch out into other chapters which appear interesting. To help this process I have indicated the chapters in Jobs, Technology and People next to the reading I judge most applicable. However, most of the readings below apply to some degree to all the chapters in the present book.
