Other international efforts in the promotion of Olympic education

Some international efforts to promote Olympic education through intergovernmental and international organizations have been arranged and supported by collaborations of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) with partners like the United Nations, the United Nations Educational, Social and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the European Union (EU). Some of these common initiatives date back more than 25 years.
