ABSTRACT
A basic case vignette or role play comprises items of information which enable learners to identify with a potential client’s world, to discuss theory in relation to practice and to obtain feedback on their own practice. These ‘items of information’ can be adapted to make the material simpler or more complex, depending on the level of training. They can also be adapted to reflect the different work contexts of course members and the range of different client groups.
