Edkins, Mr (SB) One of the party on the steam excursion on the Thames. He was a ‘pale young gentleman, in a green stock and spectacles of the same, a member of the honourable society of the Inner Temple’. Edmunds, John (PP) The main character in ‘The Convict’s Return’, the story told by the clergyman at Dingley Dell. His father and mother are also prominent in the story. (6)
