ABSTRACT

If your lesson time is to be used effectively, and your pupils are to be provided with a positive and stimulating learning environment, then your planning of each lesson should follow a particular structure. This structure could vary according to the length of the lesson, the type of activity and the environment in which the lesson is taking place. Some lessons are short in comparison with others, some are indoors whilst others are outside, and some lessons require a lot of equipment whilst others do not. These are all variables which must be taken into account when you are planning a lesson and you must learn to plan according to the demands of each situation.
