ABSTRACT
Ethnocentric bias occurs when only one ethnic group is used in the sample and yet it is
assumed that generalisations can be made about other groups.
Cultural bias occurs when only one culture (or subculture) is sampled and yet it is
assumed that we can generalise from this culture to other cultures.
