ABSTRACT

In previous chapters we have dealt with the need to raise awareness across a broad front, the impact of setting and the need to counter the anti-swot culture in school. In this chapter we will suggest some more whole school strategies. We would not recommend that schools adopt all of these, as too many will dissipate the effect of others. School managers need to decide which strategies most closely fit existing practice or potential of their school, and also to consider the extent to which such strategies would complement each other in their institution.
