ABSTRACT
The models we have considered thus far have all involved additive relationships. The coeffi cient for one variable is the same, regardless of the level of another variable. In this chapter, we will discuss interactions between variables: situations in which the relationship between a predictor variable and the outcome variable differs depending on the level of another predictor variable.
