ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we discuss how to extend the logit model that we introduced for dichotomous outcomes in Chapter 16 (what we will now refer to as a binary logit model ) to outcomes with more than two categories. When the outcome is nominal, we have the multinomial logit model.
