Ordinal numbers are adjectival and agree with the noun to which they refer: pierwszy -a-e PI. pierwsi (men), pierwsze (other nouns); drugi -a-e PI. drudzy, drugie; trzeci -ia-ie PI. trzeci, trzecie; czwarty -a-e PI. czwarci, czwarte, etc.
