ABSTRACT

If you are to make successful changes you need to carry everyone with you. The ideal is change by consensus. Some changes can be made by working with individuals and small groups and if you are clear about the changes you want to see you can use situations as they arise. For example, you may wish to see more done to provide for very able children; in talking with a particular teacher the problem of children who work more quickly than the rest may come up and give you the opportunity to talk about some of the ways in which such children can be extended.
