ABSTRACT
In Unit 5, outlines and activities were suggested for planning a programme in art through a variety of routes with a different emphasis in each. Underpinning these suggestions was the relationship between the development of the formal elements of art and the study of its critical and contextual aspects. In this Unit, these ideas are explored further through sample schemes and lessons which are intended to offer insights into ways that particular ideas can be expanded.
