ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses issues related to testing and evaluation of English-language learners (ELL) in higher education. Higher education typically refers to both undergraduate and graduate education. While ELL issues can apply to both undergraduate and graduate school students who “learn English” for their academic success and future careers, this chapter discusses only the issues related to undergraduate level ELL students, including community colleges.
