ABSTRACT
Of course, the world is a somewhat different place than it was when I gave my
brief presentation on 27 August 2001 about recent changes on the Korean
Peninsula. In one way or another, governments, organizations, and peoples have
been shocked by America’s tragedy at the hands of terrorists and have turned
their attention to the new “War on Terrorism.”
