ABSTRACT

Information technology (IT) is a method for dispersion of information within and between organizations. It has the capacity to facilitate the exchange of goods, services, money, and knowledge on a digital basis. It is the automation of transactions, communication, and interaction using computer and exchange technologies for whatever purposes those who are participating intend.1 It includes inter-organizational systems such as e-mail, iPod, Skype, and telephone. The most significant aspect of IT is its effective distribution within the organization, that is, the process by which IT spreads throughout an organization and is extensively used or adopted by the various organizational units.2
