ABSTRACT
Individuals, families and small groups such as peer support groups for bereaved military mothers or veterans, may benefit from making commemorative flags, as a way to remember and memorialize a deceased loved one who served in the military. This technique might feel less appropriate in other contexts, and especially for mourners resentful of the circumstances under which their loved ones died in the service.
