ABSTRACT
Having introduced you to qualitative data-gathering strategies in the last chapter, this chapter focuses on quantitative data gathering, i.e. data collected numerically and analyzed statistically. Key concepts relevant to quantitative data collection and the way in which practice-relevant concepts are “measured” will be explored, as will sources of quantitative data. Combining qualitative and quantitative approaches into a mixed-methods approach will also be discussed.
