ABSTRACT

In RBP one always begins a research inquiry with a review of prior research literature. That’s not the case with PBR. This chapter describes how review of the research literature fits into the PBR process and explains the logic behind deciding when you conduct the literature review. More specifically, this chapter discusses the difference between:

conducting a literature review for informing your PBR study;

conducting a literature review for choosing an evidence-based intervention;

writing a literature review for publication purposes.
