ABSTRACT
[In] our teaching and curricula it is only rarely that a child discovers how thoroughly in every quarter our knowledge is an act of imagination and interpretation. We are disposed to believe that the precinct of wonder is destined to shrink as the limits of our knowledge expand and mystery will be found only at those remote and distant frontiers of study. This is nonsense, as every wide-eyed child can demonstrate.
