ABSTRACT
This technique, first used by Scollar, has been until very recently the dominant method for producing ‘archaeologist-friendly’ plots of geophysical surveys (Figs. 104, 105). The objective is to create something approximating to a half-tone picture of buried remains, with some indication of the relative strength of anomalies.
