ABSTRACT
For some time I completely ignored the Microsoft PowerPoint presentation package1
icon on my computer screen. However, after watching a television programme ‘So what’s ICT got to do with my subject?’ (Channel 4 1999), I decided to investigate PowerPoint. The television programme included an excellent case study of a Year 7 English class preparing and giving a presentation on a set book. As the students had clearly benefited from the project, I decided to try it out in Geography.
