ABSTRACT
This book has surveyed the field of disagreement resolution at this particular point in the history of SEN development in the UK. We have presented a number of projects involving negotiation, conciliation and mediation. The skills and techniques of mediation have been reviewed, and some ethical issues explored. The final section lists some key sources of further information which we hope will provide a handy resource bank for professionals working in this area and for parents.
