ABSTRACT
The emergence and growth of MNEs from developing countries constitute one of the more recent fundamental changes in the geographical pattern of international production to which the theories of the MNE are currently being adapted to provide an explanation. The emergence and growth of Third World MNEs have led to increased geographical diversity and competing sources of foreign direct investment.
