ABSTRACT

If you have read this book from the beginning, up to this point you have considered what is known about how young children learn best; you have looked at the ‘Desirable Outcomes’ and considered how best to promote and support children’s learning across the six areas of learning; you have considered the importance of equality of opportunity and access for all children and for the adults working with them; and you have thought about how important it is to document what you and the children do as part of your own professional role.
