ABSTRACT
I Gelati were a brief-lived commedia dell’arte company, all ex-Lecoq students, who worked in the United Kingdom in 1984. We include them as an example of a group of talented performers who adopted commedia dell’arte as a meeting point from which to start working, and whose own development as theatrical artists was moved on by the experience.
