ABSTRACT
The previous chapter outlined the theoretical issues related to working with groups of students on personal and interpersonal issues. This chapter goes on to outline the practical classroom strategies which can be used to support the delivery of a curriculum specifically designed to focus on the emotional development of students and their teachers. This curriculum was developed by the Centre for the Study of Human Relations at the University of Nottingham and has been trialled extensively with clusters of inner city schools, both primary and secondary.
