ABSTRACT

In-company projects are now a part of most MBA programmes. Part-time and executive MBA students are encouraged to use their own workplace as a source of learning, and to apply the lessons of the classroom to their own jobs. It follows that doing a large-scale project within their own firm is a way of both getting benefits for themselves and adding value for their employers. Full-time MBAs have fewer opportunities for hands-on work, and the in-company project is an important way of adding practical experience.
