Concluding thoughts

The sheer volume of correspondence that I received from daughters wishing to

help me in my research, as well as its content, leaves no doubt about the strength

and intensity of the effects that fathers can have on their daughters. In their turn,

fathers also testify to the effects that their daughters can have on them, sometimes

dramatic, but generally without the equivalent far-reaching consequences.
