ABSTRACT
This chapter examines the content of non-formal basic education programmes which apply distance learning methods in different geographical and socioeconomic contexts. It also identifies the determinants of the distance non-formal basic education curriculum and discusses some issues pertinent to the nature and scope of the programme content.
