ABSTRACT
A few months later Manningham copied into his diary a loose version of lines 71-2 of Donne's verse letter 'The Storme'. He also gave a version of Donne's epigram 'A Lame Begger' with the heading 'Of a beggar that lay on the ground drunk' (p. 156, entry for 31 March 1603).
