ABSTRACT
Cunningham(jl. 1829-68), a Scottish writer and compiler, gave a Life of Donne in a collection of English Lives. He makes a few remarks on Donne's poetry (Lives of Eminent and Illustrious Englishmen, Glasgow and Edinburgh, 1834-7, iii, pp. 240-2). He republished the life in The English Nation; or A History ofEnglal1d ill the Lives of Englishmen, 1863-8, ii, pp. 428-30.
