Some general references to Donne's poems, or to Donne as a poet, 1660-1700

Donne's name occurs in a list of the leading English poets which an Italian traveller through England, one Lorenzo Magalotti, noted in his journal of the excursion (Magalotti's account was published in Florence in 1936 as Un'ittedita relazione di UII "iaggio in Inghilterra "ei 1667-8).
