. Psychological hedonism has three main forms: That everyone desires only his own PLEASURE or happiness. That everyone necessarily aims only to maximize his own pleasure. That everyone always acts on his strongest desire. The term also sometimes applies to the theory that only pleasant thoughts can motivate actions. The three main senses can also (and the third properly speaking should) be called psychological egoism.
