-Formal Thought and Relational Judgments

IT is not our intention to devote this chapter to all the questions connected with formal thought and relational judgments in the child. Our aim is solely to indicate the bond which unites these two problems to that of childish ego-centrism and to the correlated questions which we have studied in connexion with the ego-centrism thought m general. The nature of this bond can be most clearly brought out by the study of certain mental tests which bring in the incriminated factors, and it is for this purpose that we have chosen one of the BinetSimon tests of intelligence.
