ABSTRACT

Time consciousness unifies a continuously arising flow of intentionalities to be together. The continuum of temporal positions flows homogeneously from the generative now, each position continuously modified to become more and more past. Temporal positions constituted in the flow adhere to an essentially transitive, asymmetric, and irreflexive order. Each position may be filled with a variety of intentionalities, in which complex impressions may occupy the same position while varying in content. The possibility that positions, themselves, become objectivated is founded on temporal modifications of these complex impressions.1
