ABSTRACT
Janet and John, an otherwise happily married couple, want to have a baby, but for various biological reasons are unable to do so. Fortunately, John is able to pay for help from the top IVF Consultant, Mr Spick, at Sunnylands Hospital. Mr Spick arranges for the in vitro fertilisation clinic at Sunnylands to produce one for them. The clinic already has a good supply of male gametes (#32008967-897) from a long-running programme involving male undergraduates from the local college, and a nice young lady (#1467B) who wants ‘her eggs to help another’ is found to provide the all important female gametes.
